Job Title: Office Coordinator
Hours: M-TH 9am to 12 pm
Salary: $15/hr (Job requires 9 paid training hours at a pay rate of $12.50/hr pre-hiring decision)
Job Description: The Office Coordinator is responsible for running the church office, answering correspondence, greeting guests, working with vestry and other church ministries to provide office support. The coordinator must have a pleasant demeanor when interacting with guests and parishioners and answering the phone. The position reports to the rector or priest-in-charge monitored by the Wardens and Vestry.

Qualifications
- Ability to work well with a variety of people
- Pleasant in person and phone demeanor
- Ability to create attractive documents using Word, Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain website (Weebly), Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram (or ability to learn)
- Understanding and familiarity with Episcopal faith and values
- Ability to work remotely (should the need arise)
- Open and properly direct mail, email, and voicemail
- Perform clerical work as needed (filing, copy, creating documents)
- Greet visitors to church
- Check and update church calendar (as needed)
- Communicate with rector (or priest in charge) regarding calendar of events, timelines and other business as needed
- Prepare service bulletins
- Send weekly God’s Will Resale information (as per leads instructions)
- Check and update church bulletin boards,
- Coordinate social media, phone messages, and website information (Weebly (website), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter)
- Monitor GWRS social media to maintain consistency with all other church media presences
- Aid in special projects (as needed)
- Fill out weekly time sheet and obtain approval of hours worked (my priest)
- Prepare and distribute monthly newsletter
- Update website and other social media with current events (photos, videos, etc.)
- Work with priest to prepare the yearly Parochial Report
- Update and prepare church directory
- Prepare thankyou/acknowledgement notes for contributions to the Memorial Fund
- Maintain and update list of keys and security codes (as needed)
