Activities During Lent:​
​​-Wednesday Evenings through April 6th 7pm-
"Stations of the Cross" (also called Way of the Cross)...reminding us of the events in the Passion of Christ, from his condemnation by Pontius Pilate to his entombment.   Lead by Roger Van Patten.
​​

​-Friday, April 8th 4-7pm-
                                          FISH BOIL DINNER being offered to the community as a fund raiser for outreach programs. Lead by Vestry.

Sunday April 10th at 10am Palm Sunday (also called Passion Sunday), the first day of Holy Week commemorating Jesus                                               Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem. It is associated with the blessing ad procession of palms. Lead by Rev. Charlotte                                                Wilson.

Thursday, April 14th at 6pm Maundy Thursday (also called Holy Thursday), observed in commemoration of Jesus Christ's                                             institution of Eucharist during the Last Supper. This evening will begin with an AGAPE FEAST, followed by service that will                                           include a ceremony of the washing of the feet and stripping of the altar, including removal of all crosses from the church.                                             The Altar of repose will be set up, where vigil will be available up until Midnight. Dinner will be lead by Kathy Fields.                                                      Service will be lead by Fr Jim Caldwell.

Friday, April 15th at 7pm- Good Friday, the Friday before Easter, the day on which we observe the commemoration of the                                            Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Reserved sacrament will be offered. Lead by Fr. Jim Caldwell.

Saturday, April 16th at 7pm Easter Vigil (also called Holy Saturday), celebrating the resurrection of Jesus...with bells and                                              incense and "Alleluias". A small celebration will be held after the service. Lead by Fr. Jim Caldwell

Sunday, April 17th at 10am Easter Day, the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb on the third day after                                               his crucifixion. Easter is the fulfilled prophecy of the Messiah who would be persecuted, die for our sins, and rise on the                                               third day. Remembering the resurrection of Jesus is a way to renew daily hope that we have victory over sin. Lead by Fr.                                               Jim Caldwell.
